	Appendix K : Occupational Health and Safety Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Occupational Health and Safety Committee is a joint management—union body established under the Occupational Health and Safety (Commonwealth Employees) Act 1991. The Committee administers the Occupational Health and Safety Agreement between the Commission and the Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU). The current Agreement was developed and signed in December 2003 and runs to December 2005. The purpose of the agreement is to set a framework for the prevention of workplace injuries and exposure to hazards in the workplace. Two new members joined the Committee last year, one representing management and one representing the CPSU. The committee met four times during 2003—04. During the year there were no incidents that required reporting under section 68 of the OH&S Act. No directions were given to the Commission under section 45 and no notices were given under sections 29, 46 or 47 of the OH&S Act. Occupational Health and Safety Committee
