What is unique about working in the APS?

module 2 imageIn the day to day working environment, there are many aspects that are different to those which people may encounter when working in other sectors. This module introduces the key aspects relevant to everyone in the APS: behavioural expectations, practical elements of governance structures, the APS financial framework and accountability to the Parliament, Ministers and the public.

On successful completion of this module, you will be able to summarise the APS Values and Code of Conduct (and explain how they apply in day to day situations) and also explain the other frameworks that make the APS unique – the key elements of governance, the APS funding and budget process, and accountability expectations in the APS.
