About loss of an essential qualification:
Where, in order to properly perform a specific set of duties, an employee must maintain a specific qualification/meet certain conditions it is important that the employee maintain that qualification/meet that condition. Should the employee not maintain that qualification/meet the condition than a range of options, including termination of employment, may be available to the employing agency.
