I have also worked in various Commonwealth Departments which have included: Department of Employment, Education & Training (DEET), Centrelink, and Department of Health & Ageing (Office for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health) which I am currently working as Project Manager.

My role as Project Manager is to:

  • Manage Contract’s of funded organizations.
  • Contribute to policy development and program advice in relation to the directions for achieving improved health outcomes for Indigenous people in South Australia.
  • Liaise and work closely with the OATSIH SA Health Issues and Business Management Teams and other SA OATSIH and State Office staff.
  • Represent the Department in external forums and participate at a high level in internal forums.

By working in OATSIH I am able to raise the health status of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and address existing inequities in the health system by working in partnership with communities to provide access to high quality comprehensive primary health care and population health programs.
