Experience has shown that agencies must keep up to date with emerging trends from an organisational perspective. There is a stronger focus on compliance and best practice. Managing all of these components can be challenging, especially with existing workloads and lack of internal expertise. The combined skills of the providers on the Commission’s Capability Development Panel provide advice, analysis, facilitation and reporting for Agencies.
That can include:
- conducting an analysis of the needs
- developing a plan or solution for addressing the needs and
- assisting Agencies implement a plan or solution that will address their needs and are compliant

- Procurement and Contracting – business case definition; procurement planning; requirement analysis and documentation; market approach documentation development; probity; evaluation planning and facilitation; procurement and evaluation tools; contract management planning; contract negotiation; and contract management tools
- Research and Survey – research and survey design; data collection; data collation and analysis; strategic consulting; and delivery of presentation of results
- Project Management – planning and facilitation; schedule and delivery management; performance and quality management; stakeholder management; and project management tools
- Risk Management – developing and monitoring risk management plans; and risk management tools
