Shaping strategic thought
As an executive level manager in the Australian Public Service (APS) you are required to demonstrate capabilities in shaping strategic thought through inspiring a sense of purpose and direction, focussing strategically, harnessing information and opportunities and showing judgement and commonsense. Shaping strategic thought connects these capabilities with your everyday workplace realities and will assist your ability to make more effective strategic decisions.
