Stakeholder engagement
Executive Level Australian Public Service (APS) employees who have a leadership or assisting role in stakeholder management will benefit from Stakeholder engagement. In this comprehensive program you will develop a strategic understanding of dealing with stakeholders, some highly practical communication skills and will be introduced to The Six Step Model for Stakeholder Engagement which is unique to this program.
Program overview
- exploring the contemporary context for stakeholder engagement in APS and non-government organisations
- analysing the range of frameworks and techniques for engaging with stakeholders
- identifying and exploring The Six-Step Model for Stakeholder Engagement developed for use in the APS
- developing a range of communication skills for engaging effectively with stakeholders
- building a framework for an action plan to build confidence and competence in stakeholder engagement
