State of the Service Report briefings

Each year, the Australian Public Service Commissioner provides the Minister assisting the Prime Minister for the Public Service with a detailed report outlining the current issues and challenges facing the Australian Public Service (APS).

This year’s State of the Service Report provides a valuable insight into the capacity of the APS to meet the many challenges facing Australia.

There is considerable pressure on the APS to reshape its human capital capability to meet critical workforce challenges.

The State of the Service Report 2010–11 provides important information on the human capital strategies that the APS needs to adopt in order to build human workforce capability.
