Winning that SES job—some practical insights
Advancing your career to the SES level can be challenging for even the most experienced and confident individual. If you are looking for insights into the SES selection process, tips on how best to present your claims and strategies to position yourself for success, then this program is for you.
This practical, one-day program is run as a small group, creating a confidential setting that will enable you to share and obtain information to make you more competitive in future recruitment rounds. The program includes a short mock interview with a selection panel made up of the facilitators and an experienced SES officer. You will have the opportunity to receive feedback on your performance as well as having a DVD of the session to reflect on after the program.
The program will be facilitated by the Executive Intelligence Group, a company that has an extensive background in executive search and recruitment within the APS and in helping agencies build the capability of their leadership teams. They will provide unique and expert advice to support EL 2s seeking to join the SES.
