Section 3 – Ongoing staff

The source of data for Section 3 is APSED. For a definition of ‘ongoing’ staff see Appendix 1 ‘Explanatory Notes’.

Figure 10 shows the median age of ongoing employees for selected classifications, by sex, at June 2009. In general, median age increases with classification. The median age for men is older that that for women at all classifications, except for APS 3.
