The Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) has published the interim evaluation of the Australian Public Service (APS) Disability Employment Strategy (DES) 2020-25.
- The APS Disability Employment Strategy 2020-2025 aims to increase employment of people with disability in the APS to 7% by 2025.
- The Commission undertakes interim and final evaluations of diversity and inclusion strategies to track progress, make sure they remain fit for purpose and to highlight opportunities to continue driving positive change.
- The Disability Employment Strategy interim evaluation is an evaluation that assesses progress against DES action items in the first two years after its release (December 2020 to December 2022). The APSC is using lessons learned from the evaluation when undertaking activities to support implementation of recommendations from the Disability Royal Commission.
