The Cultural Capability project is a cross agency project led by Bianca Garrett from the Implementation and Projects Team at the APSC with project team members from the Department of Defence, National Indigenous Australians Agency and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The project builds on the collaboration between the Department of Defence, National Indigenous Australians Agency and Australian Public Service Commission to provide practical guidance, tools, exaples and supports to assist APS Staff to use and apply the Cultural Capability Framework (CCF) in their operating environments.
The project team leveraged existing documentation, insights, recommendations, plans and reports to explore the question:
“How might we support agencies to imbed cultural capability to create a more inclusive Commonwealth Public Sector.”
\The team adopted agile ways of working and undertook a discovery and design process to understand user needs, synthesis, frame and deliver the Cultural Capability Hub (Hub) to support agencies uplift their Cultural Capability.
