The HR Professional Stream has been pleased to be able to organise in-person networking events again! Events for 2022 have been held in Melbourne and Brisbane with more planned over the coming months. The events are organised into 3 parts that include:

Update from the Head of HR Profession, Jacqui Curtis. Jacqui shares insights into what is happening at the Secretary level in relation to the HR, what is planned for the profession and what you can expect in the coming months.

Hear from our special guest in a Q&A session! So far this year we’ve welcomed AHRI CEO Sarah McCann-Bartlett, AHRI General Manager Samantha Noonan and Paula Goodwin, COO Bureau of Meteorology. The special guests get involved in a panel discussion session where members of the audience can ask questions. This year the discussion topics have covered the current war for talent and what the APS is doing about it, organisational culture, location strategies, and the importance of HR playing an active role with business areas rather than taking a back seat.
