- Review the Pathways to Professionalisation Framework to identify your current proficiency and next steps.
- Build your knowledge or refresh your skills by completing the APS HR Foundational Learning Series. Suitable for HR professionals at all levels, the APS Academy integrates videos, podcasts, and quizzes into modules to encourage interactivity and peer connection.
- Consider an AHRI membership to gain full access to exclusive benefits, including certification, training, and events for HR professionals.
- Keep an eye on our events calendar and sign up for opportunities to hear important updates and key messages from the HR Head of Profession, Jacqui Curtis. We also facilitate events delivered by recognised HR institutions.

- Your expert advice and influence are key to keeping the APS mobility jobs board growing, the board provides an opportunity for all Commonwealth employees to experience new opportunities. If you’re looking for your own opportunity to experience something new, our community also shares HR mobility opportunities
- Explore the roles available across the APS on Career Pathways. From a career change, upskill or temporary transfer, we have everything you need to find your fit.
- Promote the Australian Government Graduate Program (AGGP) HR Stream to your networks. We’re recruiting over 50 HR graduates for over 20 APS agencies, the 12-month development program offers a unique opportunity to kickstart a HR career in the APS. Applications open 6 March 2023 and close 17 April 2023.
- Share the APS HR School Leaver program with recent high school graduates. Successful applicants are provided with the opportunity to start their HR career in one of our participating Australian Government Departments and agencies.

APS Reform

- The Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) is consulting with agencies, public sector unions and employees to develop a comprehensive workplace relations policy. As our HR professionals, you will play an integral role in explaining and implementing the reform.
