The APSC is an agency subject to the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) and must publish a range of information on its website in accordance with the Information Publication Scheme.

The APSC is committed to taking a proactive approach to publishing information. Our IPS Agency Plan outlines our approach to the scheme and what we will include in our IPS entry. Note that the Merit Protection Commissioner discloses its IPS Agency Plan separately on its website.

Who we are

• Who we are provides general information on our role and responsibilities, including the APSC’s current enterprise agreement, our organisational structure and senior personnel profiles.

What we do

• What we do details our current responsibilities, including the Corporate Plan, APS Census results and international engagements.

Reports and responses to Parliament

• Parliamentary Reports includes all documents we have tabled, including our Annual Report, State of the Service Report, Senate Order for Indexed lists of Departmental or Agency Files, and legal expenditure.

Routinely requested information and FOI Disclosure Log

• FOI process details the process for lodging an FOI request.
• FOI Disclosure Log links directly to our log of requests and related actions, including information that we have released.

Consultation Arrangements

We are committed to consult broadly on issues related to our functions. At present membership of these forums is restricted to agency and/or program representatives.

Where consultative forums are open to public consultation, they will be advised on the APSC website.
