The below table summarises key elements of APS-wide bargaining common conditions.
No employee conditions will reduce under the below arrangements, you will keep any better conditions in your current Enterprise Agreement. These common terms will set a base standard to develop commonality across the APS.

Consultation | This term aligns with the Circular 2022/08: Genuine and effective employee and union consultation in Commonwealth agencies | The Commonwealth expects agencies to positively engage in genuine consultation with employees and unions on workplace matters that impact you. |
Consultative committees | The APS Commissioner will establish an APS-wide consultative committee with unions and APS agencies. Agencies will support the operation of the APS-wide consultative committee. | The committee will consider matters that relate to employment and APS-wide issues. |
Overpayments | An overpayment happens if an agency provides more money to you than what you were meant to get. |
