The capability review of the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (DITRDCA) has been published under the Australian Government’s re-instated pilot Capability Review program.
The DITRDCA Capability Review was led by a Senior Review Team, comprising independent reviewers Robyn Kruk AO and Professor Adam Fennessy PSM, and Roxanne Kelley PSM, senior APS reviewer and Deputy Secretary, Department of the Treasury.
Staff from the Australian Public Service Commission supported the senior reviewers with their work.
The Australian Public Service Commissioner endorsed the final report on 28 August 2023.
Department’s action plan
In response to the 2023 capability review, the Department has developed an action plan. The action plan outlines how the department will lift its capability over the coming years. The department will report on progress against their action plan through their corporate plan and annual report available at https://www.transparency.gov.au/publications.
The department’s action plan was published on 1 December 2023.
