It arose from a recommendation of the Independent Review of the Australian Public Service The independent report from the Review panel was published on 26 August 2022. The APS will act on many of the Review’s findings, but will not make changes to classifications at this stage. Instead, the APS will take steps to achieve the Review’s intent, including the implementation of more modern structures and ways of working.
