Employment Resource Hub for Employers and People with Disability
Are you looking to make your workplace, and work practices more accessible and inclusive?
Are you an employee with disability wondering if you should disclose your disability, looking to apply for a job, or wanting to know your rights under the Disability Discrimination Act?
The Australian Human Rights Commission hosts an accessible resource hub – IncludeAbility.
IncludeAbility’s web-portal has guides to:
- Hosting accessible and inclusive meetings
- Identifying as a person with disability in the workplace
- Developing effective reasonable adjustment policies
- Attracting and recruiting people with disability to your organisations, and more.
The site hosts the ‘Building a culture of Accessibility and Inclusion’ e-learn module, a Health Check tool for your organisation, and a range of videos on frequently asked questions answered by Disability Discrimination Commissioner, Dr Ben Gauntlett.
All guides and information are available in Easy Read format, and developed in consultation with people with lived experience of disability, including case studies from IncludeAbility Ambassadors.
