Applications opening soon for this exciting project
We are currently seeking project team members at the EL1 and APS5/6 levels for the Affirmative Measure Disability Employment Project. The project will run for approximately 12 weeks and supports the objectives of the APS Disability Employment Strategy 2020-25, giving agencies support to increase disability and career progression for people with disability.
Participation in the project is flexible and can be on a full-time or part time basis (e.g. 2 or 3 days per week) and is open to people at all locations. A range of placement tenure is also available (e.g. 1 or 2 months) or for the full duration of the project.
The team will be virtual and geographically dispersed team, using agile management practices to incubate ideas and explore client centric approaches via a project based management and delivery methodology. Secondment arrangements will be formalised through an MOU.
We strongly encourage nominations from people with lived experience with disability. We also encourage nominations from any locations, as the team will be working virtually. A current minimum baseline security clearance is required.
If you would like more information about the project or would like to express your interest in participating as a project team member, please reach out to Emma McMahon at diversity@apsc.gov.au. The secondment opportunity will be available on the temporary opportunities board at apsjobs.gov.au soon. Please also let others in your agency know about this exciting opportunity.
